CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
Bigbucks, Teck didnt find us...teck owned this decades ago...we found them and proved up more and more then gained 100% interest then Teck backed in for 75% but after they scraped the Salizar agreement and came up with a new agreement.
As for keeping up the appearence. For what?
Keep spending our money on these conventions with "nothing in hand"???
The way I see it. Lets say CUU did not show up.
I think we all know that the big players know who we are...they all look at everything to see what is coming down the pipes that could enhance them.
Now what if we did not show up? Dont think the big players might...just might re-think what the heck is going on with CUU and Teck. they just might think "Hey, maybe Teck did do a 100% buyout"?
What do you think might happen with our SP.
I think the big players might start investing because they dont know whats going on. Teck has tight lips we all know that.
Now with CUU being thier.......everyone probebly says..." YA, they are still looking for a buyer"
Heck I dont know, all I know is that we now have to wait for Teck to do there thing.
We...(CUU) have nothing in hand, Heck they dont even know the 2014 drill program that we have coming ....IF we even do have one coming.
I think this needs to be addressed because Elmer is on the BOD for Laird. He does have a voice with Teck...voice his opinions...let them know what kind of a drill program we want and need...after all Elmer has the best clue on were to put the drill holes. Hes been drilling it for years and years. I would love to get results like Galore Creek did...then we would rocket to the top....have Copper Fox headlines say " Shaft Creek, bigest low cost copper, gold, silver, moly mine in North America" now woudln`t that be something.
