One of the fascinating things I find about the Schaft Creek is the size of the gold deposit at 10.6 million ounces (including all inferred resources). And I expect that they could be adding to that number with the new drilling results.
The link below is a listing of Gold Mine and deposit size rankings. It one of first pages (page 3?), they state "Very large large discoveries (>10 million oz) are VERY RARE and make up only 15% of all deposits. The bulk (69%) are less than 5 million oz.".
It is a very interesting read with lots of neat graphics if you are at all interested in gold.

If you download the full 40 page pdf, you will see that Schaft Creek would rank around number 85 - so it is the 85th largest gold deposit in the world.
And this is only a secondary metal for the deposit. All I can is say is WOW.
