CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
I expect everything to be on time. If it's not I posted many of the possible reasons.
Some want a buyout NOW, they don't want to miss opportunities, so if it's not a buyout some will groan.
I think those ''missed opportunities'' will just get better and cheaper during the summer doldrums as they have during the last 24 months. So I'm in no hurry and like the optics of any of the back-in options. Alot of cash and alot of short term upside.
The buyout would come soon regardless and those who hold will get more.
As I posted about the 75% back-in:

Don't underestimate the effect of a back-in. Anything could happen as it did in April 2011 with Stifel.
We know others have been on the side lines waiting for Teck to act. So we know once Teck makes a move, the ball is in their court. So a susprise buyout could be in the cards.
Teck could start buying shares, another Stifel could show up, insiders and Ernesto could start buying the remaining shares...
