I am not exactly sure of this, but the deletion of your post may have occurred because the "report violation" button is immediately above the "Next Message" button at the bottom of the message. In the past, I have inadvertently clicked the "report violation" button when I meant "Next Message".

When I made that error, nobody complained. Nonetheless, there may be some connection between the location of the "report violation" button and the large number of innocent messages that seem to get deleted.
