For the first time in nearly 1/2 a century the people of BC have pulled there heads out of their arses! Shock, dismay and bewilderment have run through the media. I won't hide what I think about the stupidity level in this province. I'm not going to call this collective wisdon. Instead, I call it an act of desperation. These two parties are utter garbage but one has the lube. After 40 some years of taking it without kisses the people finally squeeked up. Perhaps they learned their lesson from Ont who has slowly screwed themselve to death just to spike the West. Perhaps they looked at how much EI they had left and flip flopped on their own principals. (Again).
With the stench comes some good news. The billions waiting in the wings will be able to find a safe haven in BC. This is the turning point I mentioned a couple of weeks back. You probably noticed the volume and the lack of sales? What will be instructive is seeing how the money gets in here. I've talked a bit about that in the past but now it's time to expand. In the coming days watch for structural changes to the Junior investment scene. This will mark the demise of the TSX.v as the main exchange for Junior funding. They knew what a liberal win meant and were shaking in their boots.
So far a lot of what you've seen on the exchange has been targeted at BC. You were supposed to think this was a normal cycle and the NDP would cap off the rout in the JR sector. Bunk I tell you. A great deal of this was directly due to Ontario not wanting the west to succeed. Plans were laid deep and even the regulators were in on it. Gee, go figure there. The last thing the rest of Canada wanted to see was a strong West.
Since the TSX.v knows its days are numbered it should be interesting to see what they do. Will they try to promote their arena as the no holds barred machine slug fest? "Real Steel" so to speak. From my perspective those donkeys are getting what's due, oblivion.
Very interesting times ahead. This is buying season but for shares and not what the exchange says the company is valued at.
