It would seem to me that if as webgogs says "our problem is that we have a good resource but it's under the outhouse" Others have alluded to poor or horrible market conditions.
I can accept these evaluations but in my mind the logical approach under these circumstances is to wait until market conditions improve and the outhouse is replaced by something better perhaps a mall or a Walmart. In other words why sell at the bottom. Wait for conditions to improve which may take 2 or 3 years, hopefully not longer and then sell when we are in demand. The other point is that companies like Teck can't really care about conditions today. What will the conditions be in 4 or 5 years when a mine has been constructed?
