CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
I think any exploration money woudl be better spend demonstrating whole new mineralized zones that show that there is real, massive mineralization in one or more of these zones.
I agree. Didn't Elmer recently say, perhaps to Liddy, that he thought there was one more zone? I thought that was odd, but then so much is odd.
I also remember Elmer saying that the Discovery zone would not be drilled again for ten or fifteen years when the SC mine was already in production. Things do change though.
Chappy, when you have time...can you give a rough estimate of how much land from Copper Fox is in the AOI versus that of Teck?
I'm just wondering because Teck has their own AOI that would presumably match the value of some of our AOI so that if Teck were to buy us out completely they would be contributing land claims as well. Does this make sense?
We've always thought that we have land outside the Agreement to sell as well as that within the Agreement, but it never occurred to me that Teck would also have land to sell into the partnership that would cancel out some of ours. I'm wondering though because of the location of the Teck AOI properties if they are logically placed along that mineral trend.
