CUU just renewed the Mess Creek claims for 3 years using the exploration credits (expenses) that the gov allows miners to apply to lieu of staking fees. Seems CUU has a solid lock on them. The importance of them in terms of the road is still debatable imho but i don't doubt it would be better to own the mineral rights for your road than to not. Galore seems to value having the mineral tenure along much of its road right-of-way.
