CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
When ES was chatting with a bunch of us in Smithers he asked - what would be so wrong with Teck backing in for 75% and Cuu just paying dividends for the life of the mine?
I have been planning on holding shares in Teck anyway (if they mine SC) but it would be far more lucritave to collect dividend cheques from Cuu under this situation. Even though it would be quite a few years before the first cheque arrived.
Many would not want to wait that long but it is appealing to some of us.
