CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
The rule about sharing material information is "trumped" by it jeprodizing other, even more material information and other contractual agreements.
If Teck backs in, we get the Liard...not like we won't. It helps the market reaction/our current share price but does nothing really for us in terms of an actual deal. This isn't a priority to me. My priority is making sure SC gets sold so I can exit my position, not the current share price but my final share price. The signal to the market that we get Liard is trivial (and will likely go unnoticed). Small potatoes compared to an actual buyout (of which I'm skeptical currently).
