If it weren't anonymous even fewer Hub Leaders would take the time to clean up the board. That being said, some are more zealous than others and we don't always get it right.

I welcome the discussion in a positive or negative light because I think it is important to test any negative assumptions to see if we can defeat them, in a sense. If we can't argue against the negative, in other words, then it might be correct! So far I think we're doing a pretty good job of thinking through negative consequences and keeping going, but it is important to hear what others think could go wrong sometimes.

I don't think we would all be here if all we were allowed to read were happy, upbeat commentary. Obvious bashing aside, we need to keep an open mind and stop making these discussions personal.

Prospekt, it is obvious that you are a very level headed and reasonable person. You are well suited to be a hub leader, and I am in no way calling your integrity into question. I agree playing devil's advocate or presenting contrary opinions are essential to test our theories.

I still think some accountabilty on the hub leader's side would curtail some of the more questionable bans and deletions. It's too easy to hide behind annonimity. If someone deserves to be banned, the hub leader should be proud to stand up and say he/she did it. Also, I'm not saying I am dissagreeing with the bans, just that there is no accountability.
