It is about starving a Junior. Management probably feels they have no choice but to be polite as Teck is the probable buyer and has this 120 ever extending clause.
Extend the FS completion, take a long time to condense it for Sedar, do 30 days to show bankable, do we get another 30 days for the feasibility notice (the NR do not say it has been delivered)
Either Teck is still getting ducks in a row (one would think just buying us out with petty cash, do a bit of drilling then reselling portions could be the most profitable for them) or else they are negotiating knowing time just means more dilution. EE has to decide how long to hold.
I hope ES is entertaining other bids to transfer all our rights etc to another major. I would be quite easy to structure an agreement basied on if: different % Teck back-in and Liard shares. So another major could move now even with a few Teck unknowns. It is all negotiable.
