For argument's sake, attorney-client privilege would not necessarily preclude CUU's lawyers from discussing all aspects of the already public information contained in the option agreement.

Regardless, no lawyer in their right mind would discuss their client's affairs with the client's shareholders without first clearing it with the client (and making sure someone pays for it ;) ) - that's just bad business.
