Message: Teck May Consider Copper Acquisitions as Output Declines

Liddy:

...no major is going to spend resources on CUU until Teck decides what to do (...and until we decide what to do with any potential Teck offer).

Why spend due diligence money on something that may not come to fruition? Any major would have to assume that Teck is going to be (partially or totally) taking us out, unless Teck's actions show otherwise.

While I agree that it would be interesting to have a "bidding war" for CUU going on, we simply have to let Teck communicate its intentions first (i.e. we are in a "holding pattern" for the time being...a s-l-o-w, painful one at that!)

P.S. If a bidding war were to eventually occur, I cannot see this happening until we prove-up more of our resources and properly categorize the "waste rock" which our BFS is currently showing.
