Teck's valuation approach only matters as it affects their decision on whether they want to exercise their Option ie. up to 75% of part of Schaft Creek.

The valuation opinion of EE and the other insiders (who own and control some 65% of CUU) matters in determining whether Teck will own 100% of Schaft Creek or some lower %.
