CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
I don't think China and India will want to wait untill 2020 or 2025 before they devour SC copper... Teck has made it clear they want to expand their copper business ... The question is how? Build vs. Buy.. Build...could equal QB2, SC, Galore? Buy...could be something like Antofagasta? Of course I have no idea what will happen but, I am pretty positive Teck will not wait 10 years...
I agree with you on this.....Remember, Shaft Creek has something that Galore Creek does not have.....a Shipping facility.
I think this is one of the most important points of the CUU story.
I had spoke to Elmer about this as well....I asked him if Teck takes 25%. Who gets the shipping rights. Elmer told me the one who takes the bigger portion of CUU.
Without Teck have`in away to get rid of thier material....what do they do....Elmer has thought about this ( the man has put 5 mines in action ).....and put all his ducks in a row. Might be a little of a curved road....yet a road non the less.
