CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
This is based off the trend. Not everything is a district has to be giant. We have 7 deposit probabilities. Interestingly, Teck is not a big silver co but does sell silver. We shot some parts of the anomalies and it confirmed the structure of them as Elmer said, 1 to 1. With hole 404 we found the depletion zones confirming the blisters were mineralized. Additional drills showed the thickness of the halo and gave us a very good idea of what we could expect. In addition we have associated brechia. Those indicate a multi source occurance just by themselves. We understand how all this formed much better than before. I would love it if CUU gave us a detailed artist impression incorporating the data (Mira) for the whole area.
Elmer down played the south zone that Mira identified but that may be more to the lower grade surface samples taken or the chemistry. But I think based off Paget that our south zone is on a trend. That would be an undertaking entirely of its own. I like the silver content going north. Sure, there are more challenging conditions due to pit widths etc but that area is getting much much richer than is at the surface of the data to date. I have no doubt what we would find if CUU could find a way to retain drilling rights for us. I know people don't want to hear this but we should do what we can to keep a contract with Teck for the completion of the drilling. Yes, Az like BC is a hot bed of copper and I can be fairly sure there will be a nice payday there.
I think what people don't get is the shear size of the district. I would bet that another 15km to the north will mark the boundary of the district and they will find higher silver and then a slow return to good copper values. We are not talking about just 12km of paydirt but more like 30km. The control features limit what will be found size wise and grades should remain fairly steady across the entire thing. This is normal for coastal crust deposits in BC. No doubt you all know about some of our famous gold mines there right? If you look at the major fault and the staking you could consider that as 1 super district. I have no doubt that if the arc is followed GJ is not the final end. I suspect Boxxer is going to prove up some interesting facts about our area despite being miles away. BC is just becoming a real mining power house. It's unfortunate that our politicos have been such whaccos for so long. I don't see the voters changing any time soon. Clearly they are idiots.
As Jr's develop the resource profile we'll have a much better idea of what economics will drive each deposit and from that we can determine when these events will occur. Many who are familiar with siesmic activities know that we have shot the shite out of everything. We know where all of the oil/gas is. What is being done now is refinement. This is the same for mining. Miners are in the profiling stage and this is why we should retain what interest we can. Why not get paid a steady income while exploring?
