I'm interested in why we're not starting out with +180k tpd
That's a good question chops. However under the agreement with Teck I believe the minimum required was for just 65t/day operation. With such a large deposit, it would be negligent if they didn't do some economic analysis for much larger operations in the BFS. A higher thoughput would no doubt do wonders for our NPV if the increase in capex was marginally smaller. Let's also not forget that the mineralization in just the Paramount zone is still open at depth and also in all directions. So we could be looking at an additional 200-300M more tons on top of the inferred making SC as big as 2B tons and lasting 50+ years.
