Is probably closer than we all think imho. I predict we will be taken out within next 45 days, since Lynn said teck has not been delivered the bfs yet and they have up to 45 days to do so. I dont think teck wants to lose liard interest. The way i viewed the bfs at first was negative. Then reading the news release over 4 times made more sense to me. The numbers highlighted are worst case scenario numbers. The mine life is given a value of 21 years which is bare minimum. We all know that there probably is enough ore body to last 50+ years. The payback period is also very conservative. If they can ramp up production by 50% and produce at 180,000 tpd, that pay back period will be reduced significantly. In addition they have mine operational by 2020, but did say that this can be faster if combination of things are done simultaneously. Imho, teck has seen over this release. Bfs is believable and the potential for it to be even better with higher metal prices, more drilling, moving waste rock to being m & i, is very high. There might be an attack on sp on monday, and some nervous nellies might sell. I will not be one of them, and i still expect take over offer around $3 or slightly higher. All this imho of course. I recommend everyone read news release at least 3 times. It sounds better each time. I agree with vette and moxam. I think we will be gone very soon.
