CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
My only real question's are will we find out if and when the clock has ever started? Has ES allowed extra time for Teck to get their ducks in a row? Wouldnt have Teck already been getting their partners in place knowing the BFS was close????
I also believe, as many here do, that Teck already has the BFS and is conducting an extensive/thorough review. They are not unfamiliar with the project as CUU management has shared info with them from day 1. Also, it was mentioned here that Teck downloaded all data on SC sometime in mid-July. If that is the case then we are well into 4 months of Teck conducting their own engineering studies and review. The end of Dec will make 5 months so imho we are getting very close to a decision from them. My thoughts are that we get the BFS and a buyout offer together. However, some speculate that if we do get the BFS a buyout offer will follow very shortly ( a few weeks ) thereafter. Nevertheless, imo, I think we are getting very close to a Major NR that will positively impact the sp very soon.
