Teck Cominco acquired its direct and indirect interests in the project under a threeway
agreement with Hecla Mining and Liard Copper Mines, by purchasing Hecla’s
70% direct interest for cash and a reserved 5% net proceeds interest to be applied to
the direct 70% interest share of cash flow after Teck Cominco has recovered its
designated costs. This net proceeds interest was subsequently sold to International
Royalties. (Royal Gold)
