Nothing like some subtle pressure Elmer must be under.

I would think that Elmer has a FEW MILLION reasons to get this done as soon as reasonably possible. He just has to look at his largest investor. Now I'm not sure how those conversations between Ernesto and Elmer are going, but Ernesto continues to provide funding which indicates that his confidence in Elmer remains intact.

However, in thinking of Elmer and the above, I find it outstanding and commendable his integrity and dedication to "get the BFS done right the first time" which seems to outweigh the aforementioned pressure he must be feeling.
