I doubt that Teck is up because of SC. Hardly anybody knows about SC yet. Teck is up because all the copper miners are up. Look at BHP, Rio Tinto and other large mining company charts. They are all up big today due to a better outlook on commodity prices. Look at also the basic materials index IYM - also up big today and similar shape chart to TCK. I would think that TCK stock would actually go down a little if the market knew that it was going to purchase SC as it would result in dilution to the stock. Sorry to burst anyones bubble here. Just have to wait some more..
