CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
I'm the first to admit I know very little about how the markets actually play out, accept that I know we little guys will always be in second position. Management has said they don't know what is going on. I know that most of us aren't selling. So I suspect the selling and buying is just going around in circles and maybe on any given day a small number of shares are taken away from the circle, and those who acquire them - well they're not selling back at these levels. I do think we are so far under the radar that we are in the "B.C. Triangle Vortex" - simliar to Bermuda but all positive! Management is low key. News releases are sporadic and non-promotional. We don't have to promote because we have a mostly captive shareholder group. Teck doesn't mention us anywhere. No one seems to know they have staked 70,000+ hectares abutting our property. No professional houses are following us. The Teck option /Liard share agreement is confusing and imposes a Teck first right that is unknown at this time. The BC triangle potential has been talked about ad nauseam for years so it's not a new story. We have a history of taking our time to complete and publish milestones (all good in terms of additional drilling discoveries, rising historical metal price averages, claims additions). I talked to one of the Canacord guys this week and mentioned CUU - the response was it is holding up OK in spite of the mediocre drill results a few weeks ago - sheesh! what about the Discovery holes this summer? But with no inside analysts following it and putting it on people's plates, who digs for the information? With all these complications and unknowns, the big boys might be happy to make a little on the CUU share rise as it starts to go rather than get in and wait to make more. There will be a good profit in this for everyone once the share increase begins.
So I think those with extremely quick computer trigger fingers are playing us by the minute, knowing there has been no sign of Ernesto or David for some reason, and realizing that no else will jump in for a big position to take advantage of the low prices, because they can't get it. The minute we start to go up with genuine outside volume buying, watch how quickly the asks disappear to a much, much higher level. The BFS will get everyone from the little guy to the big boys involved because it will be a third party vetted institutionally-accepted basic starter valuation of Schaft Creek. The publicity will attract a lot of attention to us. We will look comparatively very, very good for all the reasons you and the rest of our Board already know. And because we followed the money, did our own DD and were patient, we will be the winners.
