The "frisbee" shares are just additional liquidity provided by the MM and HFTs. Some of these frisbee shares are used to keep balance between the price on the US and Canadian exchanges. The frisbee shares are not actually being accumulating. Without these frisbee shares our volume would be lower and the bid/ask spread would be larger. They have very little impact on our share price and the extra liquidity makes buying and selling easier.
