Finally boarded the Copper Fox train after years of following AG blogs and occasionaly peaking into the SH site for amusement. Well it was my first purchase since the dog days back in 2009 when Guillermo Salazar was still at the helm. So, you can say I've been around.
I have been throughly impressed by Elmer's methodical approach over the years. Never expected that the Shaft Creek project would become so large and robust, and morph into a district. As the mineralized area expanded so did the questions and possibilities. Exploration will continue long after CUU sells the project but the time has come to finally monetize the project. Many have become frustrated with missed deadlines but minor improvements to the BFS will have a large impact on the project's final value. Management needs to ensure the study is indisputable when its presented.
Management has admirably tried to give guidance to the BFS release to benefit of shareholders. Even they did not anticipate the complexity and the delays it would cause.
Many of the shareholders have used the deadline to speculate a buyout for a quick gain. The dissapointments and impatience would inevitably lead to sell offs like today. Which I thank you. Did we reach the bottom today? Can't say but couldn't believe sp could drop this low. If you can see the end game is near for a triple, quadruple or whatever, wouldn't you be willing to wait?
Hang on folks and enjoy the ride
