Did Vette say news was coming Monday? Are we expecting news then? Where is this coming from, did I miss a conversation with management?

No I'm not expecting anything monday. When the sept 25th nr came out I told many (in pv) that I wasn't expecting anything to happen before the 22nd. I do think it's close but I have no expectations it comes out when it's ready.
