CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
What is to dislike about having someone else do all the exploration work and then being guaranteed a majority stake just by spending money at some undetermined future date?
Not much, if that was the case
It isn't
There is nothing about an undetermined date if you have to build a producing mine within 4 years of election, totally financed by you
Or undetermined about an election decision within 120 days of the BFS
..or forming a CUU run, mine development JV, within 60 days of the BFS
...or relenquishing your shares in the Liard interest, commensurate with the release of the BFS
Teck has to figure out how they wish tp proceed in this minefield
Otherwise no big deal...
