Jimmy - I am no geography expert but if you look at the area on Google Earth, it sure looks like Schaft Creek is on the easter side of the Coast Mountains. I am not sure what BC coastal range is? Mt. Ratz which is part of the Coast Mountans is about 80 km to the west of Schaft Creek and Galore Creek Camp is 51 km, again based on Google Earth.
