Bad news for those involved in the spill such as BHP Billiton Ltd. of Australia, Xstrata PLC of Switzerland, TECK Cominco Ltd. of Canada and the Mitsubishi Corp. of Japan. However, as more and more problems continue to arise in S. America the Schaft Creek deposit is looking ever more promising. I cant see Teck shareholders balking at a fair priced takeout of CUU when all around the globe continued unrest towards major mining operations is hampering production.
