The ASTER Imagery study has identified two zones of clay alteration in the area between the GK zone and the ES zone and an area located approximately 4 kms southwest of the Schaft Creek deposit, and
The second zone is located approximately 4 kms southwest of the Schaft Creek deposit, is roughly circular in shape and covers an area that measures 3.0kms by 1.5kms
Clay means minerals! When we find circular shapes of mineralized clay we have found another zone. And this one is really big! The outcrops in the North zone are very exciting. This is more proof that we have a District on our hands. The USA lands also have mineralized clay and it is believed that that is the host for the brechea pipes. Someone needs to call Elmer and ask about the images to find out if any other features were identified. We may have pipes that didn't reach the surface, or other control features that are identifiable in the images.
A clay bed of that size could dwarf SC! The outcrops in the North lead me to think there's another monster lurking in that clay. For those interested go read the MD&A from the USA lands. They discuss clay too. The North bed may host similar pounds as in SC just higher grades in a more concentrated area. It could also host a monster high grade with more gold and silver. The moly grades should be ok too.
Now we have something to get excited about that the general public is going to miss.
