Indeed why would CUU ever do this...The subject of amending the Agreement has come up before.

IIRC...this Agreement is TCK's document. Since it is their contract, they are in a weak position to have the contract scrapped and the legal system favours the other party on this type of issue (wanting to scrap the agreement for better terms). I believe it was Metacomet raised these very points.

If the Agreement gets scrapped, I think it would be on CUU's terms and to their benefit of their bargaining position.

I am not going to lose any sleep over this issue.
