I don't necessarily disagree Metacomet. The whole point of being in CUU is anticipation of the buyout and what SP might do.

I think a few folks found the steady steam of numbers to be less of a conversation and more of a stream of data that didn't generate much discussion in itself. Some of the popularity (i.e. number of posts) of the discussion might simply be that over 70 people blurted out their guesses resulting in 70 posts without much in the way of conversation. Since we just completed a similar pool... I didn't think it was a bad idea to shift this to the Off Topic Forum. I wouldn't take that shift as being a reflection on the utility and interest in the excercise.
