They can't "hire" BXX, it's a publicly-traded company. I don't think there will be any deal that involves BXX, either in selling properties or new agreements or anything whatsoever. They don't need to involve BXX in order to get Elmer Stewart to sign another exploration agreement covering the properties that lie outside the current agreement.
Teck could buy out all of Copper Fox and therefore all their claims. Teck doeesn't like to do the exploration work themselves though, it takes a lot of time, and expertise plus a lot of money. They would prefer the exploration work be done with other people's money. If Teck were to take on the job of exploration themselves they would have to put their own money into a project that has no proven value. They prefer to make agreements with all these juniors and when something is proven then they step in and put their own money into the project.
I don't quite know how Teck would get involved in CUU2 though since they have no claim over those properties. They might have to buy a substantial number of shares and involve themselves that way.
