Message: Blackout STILL in effect?
Any mention of a delay or things going sideways for a bit or that the company is not moving fast enough get hammered. Yet, The sp did exactly what I said it would in May. So as an in your face Nadir's post becomes the top rated. Really, that's building a castle in the sky. No points for accuracy? Are people who trade that despised?
I don't misrepresent the facts I just read the tea leaves and for that I get scolded. I told you guys that when the Americans have to report Foreign holdings that it may spark trouble. (re IRS investigation). There's a reason for it. People here are not even aware of the implications for the stolen MF Global money, who did it and what the fallout may be. If you were trying to acquire more shares on the cheap you'd look into this and decide when to buy because you'd have a better idea of the impacts.
Does anyone here know what happened at Freeports flagship mine? Do you get the timelines for the supply disruption?
How about this:
(Reuters) - Peruvian president Ollanta Humala said on Saturday Newmont Mining would ensure ample water for towns near its proposed Conga gold mine, and that his government would not allow new mines to open if they hurt water supplies.
U.S.-based Newmont on Friday accepted a stricter environmental mitigation plan for its mine, which will now require total investments of $5 billion, making it the most expensive mine in Peruvian history.

Why be wankers about what I post. Not all is doom and gloom as you guys say, it's all fact based. I hint that things might blow up in Peru. That's because a read everything I could about the water issue and discovered just how bad it is. It's really bad. Chile while hugely mining friendly has issues under the rug too. Most people here are not aware of the bug issues and the spraying that's getting people really riled up in some countries (including Mexico). Ever hear of Chiggas? Wake'y wake'y eggs and bacc'ey. This type of knowledge shapes the future for Teck and CUU.

There's a much bigger picture out there.

One of the intriguing rumours making the rounds is that Novagold Resources Inc (NG-T) might eventually consider a friendly takeover bid for Copper Fox. Novagold is developing the Galore Creek copper-gold deposit whose location is inconveniently wetter than Shaft Creek.

So if you're like me and started reading this stuff that long ago and it took until now to beging to really develope the project and was done so at such a slow rate you might just start getting annoyed with management. This is the time for them to pull out the stops. They've run us up against a nasty wall of global BS. I've listened to all the explanations, some I agree with and some I don't. I do beleive this should have been concluded last year but we never met the burn through rate I expected. So I don't expect them to accelerate this year. We are in this for the long run. Like it or not. If you are here when it all goes down, you will be wealthy. (Annoyed but richer than you were before)
