Your post brought back visions of 'Bramladesh' as it's unaffectionately called these days...sad. All the gorgeous farmland is paved over, industrialized, a sea of matchbox houses. We grew up in Mississauga when it was all farmland; left 30 years ago for 'greener' pastures. I have to agree with you that the west is where it's at for resource development, adventure, breathtaking scenery but there are still some amazing eastern locations, northern lake country, Quebec City and east to Gaspe. I'm hoping to head west to visit my brother and maybe hop over to camp in northern BC. The mountains are calling! (the real ones...though the mountain of money around Schaft Creek has been calling my name for about a year and a half)
