It appears that Marko gets paid a bit of cash and variable NSR % for the claims he sells to CUU - as per the News Releases.

He's had some good luck selling his claims to CUU. If one of those claims turns into a Schaft sized mine in the next 30 yrs, it could be worth tens of millions to him or his estate....
