At this point imho, I'm not sure there will be a CUU 2.0. Management has always expressed the desire to sell the whole package and even Elmer has said many times before that someone else will drill the other areas. Looking at it from Teck's point of view would you want another competitor in your backyard? It just makes sense for them, imho, to make a decent offer for the whole package and not just SC. If they teem up with a big enough partner with deep pockets why wouldn't they just make a bid for the whole enchilada? There is enough proof there to justify some premium on the other unexplored lands imho. It would take decades to prove up the rest and like Elmer said - "that would be left for someone else". That to me tells me that management wants a deal for the whole thing. If Teck doesn't step up then perhaps one of their bigger competitors will :)
