The worst that can happen depends on your timeline. Short-term, TECK backing out would hurt the share price hard, but long term would quadruple the value (more or less).
Management not selling and planning to go mining would probably hurt short term as people want to get out quick, but long term would probably be really good getting in at these prices.
Worst possible thing that could happen is government not allowing us to mine - but that seems unlikely as we're in such a pro-businness/mining environment with the current government, it just seems so unlikely to even factor in as a possibility.
Time-frame that you're looking at is what decides the worst thing that could happen in a realistic situation. Anything bad, is just short term and will help us long term. Question is if you want to stick around long term or not.
