It appears to me that the tone of the conversation was based on the poster's attitude more than the IR person's attitude.

As far as the objective opinions expressed, I tend to agree. Stockhouse is a "free-for-all" dominated by inmates, short-sellers and emotionally retarded types, whereas Agoracom may be going a bit too far the other way. This doesn't affect CUU much because we all have heard all the arguments against CUU and the good posts by several on this board have actually added a great deal of information in recent weeks.

However, too much control over negative posts could be a disadvantage with some stocks where information is a bit hard to come by and it is necessary to understand all the strengths and weaknesses of a company before making an investment and certainly before making decisions on whether to add or sell part of one's holdings when there is SP movement. Knowing the potential weaknesses of a company certainly can actually make me more comfortable in making a decision to buy or add.

After all, the advantage to investing in these early stage companies is the fact that information is not as widely known as it is with larger cap stocks. Knowledge is money in early stage investing.

By the way, the part implying that the IR guy believes that posts here are too optimistic with respect to potential buyout numbers were, in my opinion, simply an attempt at soft bashing. I don't believe it. If anything, it was an attempt by the poster to transfer his/her opinion to the IR person.
