There was some lukewarm data out of China that put people off copper a bit after the morning rally. Next week we should see some enthusiasm over Greece resolving their crises, or at least settling something important and it not being so urgent that they are going to have a messy default in March. It might take another week though of middling stuff before the action really begins.

COPPER futures settled in negative territory this morning as some market participants chose to cash in on the recent rally ahead of next week's Lunar New Year celebrations in Asia, while others were put off by weak economic data from China.
