Very interesting. . . when you think about it they have to decide on this project in concert with a decision about Galore Creek. They would hardly separate the decisions much given the location and the costs, and the timing of both projects. They have been saying, now, that they will make a decision on Galore at the end of the year so, at the same time, they should be close to knowing what they want to do with Schaft. (Maybe?)
Awhile ago Mgmt was saying that Teck was prepared to make a decision very fast after the BFS was released because they were following the progress very closely. It stands to reason they would not begin to analyze it after the document emerged. Also, I was told that they were going to take the RE to their funding partners when it was released because it would be sufficient to start that process.
I think Elmer is pushing hard to get that BFS out before the year's end because of some deadline pressure with Teck. (Just a hunch.)
