Thx Rebels, I always enjoy a good conspiracy theory. Struck me as funny at first, but you have valid points about handgun restrictions and public reaction to assasination attempts. People can really go nuts over-reacting, as you probably witnessed with the Rodney King incident in L.A., not to mention 9/11 ... don't even go there, where one incident caused billions in unnecessary spending, unnecessary new beaurocracy and an open checkbook that was in a large way responsible for the US economic problems. I respect President Obama's intelligence and familiarity, though of course not all of his agenda. Gun control is a tough sell in cities like Chicago where people are held up at gunpoint, though I was told a couple days ago -- haven't verified -- they're talking about conceal & carry here. I wonder where these nuts are getting money for their ammunition, because it isn't cheap. We keep beating the drum about enforcing the laws already on the books, to no avail. I dunno about your Gangs vs. Milita thoughts though, where'd that come from?
