Thank you for your post.

With regard to the renegotiation of NAFTA. I believe that Obama's camp has avoided that issue during the presidential campaign. On the run up to the selection of a Democratic candidate, there was a leak to the Canadian ambassador with regard to the renegotiation of NAFTA.

Obama's camp was blamed for that leak but subsequent investigation by Steven Harper, our Prime Minister, has shown that the leak was made by another Democratic (Clinton) camp, so that that candidate could gain votes from both Ohio and Pennsylvania, whose jobs are largely dependent on NAFTA as it presently stands. By the time Steven's investigation was complete, it was too late for Obama to recover and I believe that he lost both states to Hillary.

I believe that Obama has alluded to reviewing NAFTA during his Presidential campaign, but I believe he has carefully not taken a position so as not to alienate voters on either side of that issue.

Obama's camp has made statements with regard to dirty oil and his camp has also made statements about trying to acquire oil independence for the U.S.

So, the Green platform would appear to be popular with Obama's camp during the Presidential campaign.

It is very interesting to see that you are involved with oil and gas with various countries around the world. I certainly don't have the knowledge to question your information in those areas.

With regard to John Mauldin.

I do believe John Mauldin is an excellent source of information and I also receive his newsletter on each weekend. I notice that he was 2 days late a week ago.

You may wish to go to this web site to view many other letters (many of which are a waste of time) but in the archives you will find most of the newsletters that are available free of charge from various excellent writers.

Also, you will find the following link very interesting with regard to all sorts of information:

So, again, thank you for your post. I hope your investment strategy works out and that you are able to get back into Connacher (should you wish to) at an attractive price.

Best Wishes,

Lynn
