Thanks for the STP information 2 Crude. It sounds like approximately 3 years to get to where Connacher is now, assuming similar scenarios. However I don't know anything yet about STP, they probably aren't financially hedged as Connacher is. Does this put STP a little ahead of AOS? I think AOS has an advantage vis-a-vis association with Connacher, but their planning http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/080603/04032... appears on the surface to be pretty solid. Does anyone have any thoughts they'd care to share on the prospects of AOS vs. STP?

You really have to wonder about what's going to happen with oil. I'm seeing the demand destruction first-hand in Illinois. I've never seen so many cars with temporary license plates, as drivers turn over their old vans for small cars. Of course this can only go on for so long until all the large autos that are going to be exchanged have been turned over. Then you have the turmoil over in Spain and other spots in Europe. Something's got to give, probably why the Saudi's are calling an emergency summit.

Then you have the US who's stubbornly protecting their resources. The environmentalists may be doing us a favor in the long run, no way to say except in hindsight IMO. I'm just wondering if I should start parking my car in the garage lest I have an empty gas tank come morning one of these days. Many in the industry say supply is adequate, production may be a problem, and we're possibly in a bubble. Bubble or not, seems to me the market hasn't ever priced that into CLL and as long as operations go as planned we should be in the money. We'll see.
