From Schwab this morning (ouch)...

"Valero Energy (VLO $50) said it expects 1Q profits of $0.10-0.35 per share, well below the Reuters estimate of $0.98. The largest independent refinery in the US blamed weaker margins as it has struggled to pass along costs from higher crude oil prices. Valero also said that unplanned outages will reduce earnings by about $400 million. "
