It might even get the US off its sanctimonious kister and encourage it to develop its estimated two trillion barrels including on shore and off shore resources including deep water. But, only with new leadership which is less "visionary" and more practical. Totally reasonable to plan for the future. But, first one has to survive to get to that future!
