You are correct wth your logic on exchange rates. My first buy of Connacher was at $2.12 USD when the US exchange rate USD/CDN was .80. Now the exchange rate is USD/CDN .97. Therefore my exchange rate adjusted price on that first buy was in a currency adjusted basis at a price of 1.67. Therefore on that initial purchase I have benefitted by 45 cents. Not enough to get me to break even as the SP of CLL has declined by an even greater percentage.
