Connacher likely has one more chance at succcess. It is with my hope for you, me and all here, that the clock, fates of this economy and Conachers performance level is finally up to the task. It is not my desire to see them fail. And yet, nothing is gained by being a reckless unadorned cheer leader and therefore burying ones head in the sand as to realities of historical fact. And the historical reality is that management failed in their contingency planning and execution on Pod 1.

Such, when the crisis hit, did not leave them the margin of error required to continue operations. So they discontinued operations with the result of either due to such cessation of operations or, damage to operational equipment or the bitumen field itself, not only was Pod 1 placed at risk which in fact has reduced output of Pod 1 even to this day but, Algar had to be delayed with significant additional cost. In fact, we now know the cost was approximately the original for Algar cost versus the now double costing which they had to finance in order to finish Algar. To quote Everett Dirksen, " a couple of hundred million here and a couple of hundred million there, and pretty soon you are talking real money"!

And lets face it, that money was yours and mine and every other individual and entity that has invested in Connacher. Such cost, yours, mine and every other investor in Connacher should be realized by all invested in the Company. Unless of course, you feel the waste of a couple of hundred million of OUR money is a trivial item!

As for my cra*. It comes with a much lower cost than Connacher Managements!
