Sharky I agree, think you're right on target with your concept of oil and gold being up because the US $ is down. I heard by word-of-mouth today that India just bought up a large chunk of gold. I haven't verified the story, but wouldn't be at all surprised, and wouln't be surprised to see more from other countries such as China. Though of course it's a difficult balance, because since they hold so much US $ in the first place, they wouldn't want to see them crash. Commodities may be a place to have a good position in these uncertain times.
